• Schedule: FT - 40 hours per week / 6:30 AM -3:00 PM, M-F, call up to every 4 days Monday -Thursday, Call every 4th weekend

Responsibilities

Facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

• Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile drapes and sterile solutions as well as appropriate sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.
• Hand required/requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery.
• Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitors/tracks instruments counts throughout procedures.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Surgical Technician Program or Military Specialty Training required.

Work Experience:

• Minimum one (1) year of related experience required.

Additional Preferences

6 months of experience as a Surg Tech.
