The Motility and Functional Gastrointestinal Disorder Center Team is in need of a full time dietitian. The team includes a GI specialist, psychologist, pain specialist, social worker, and dietitian. This multi-disciplinary team works with patients with motility and functional disorders and the dietitian plays a vital role. We are seeking a candidate who has familiarity with G and J tube feedings, as well as the low FODMAP diet, gluten free diet, as well as restrictive eating related to pain disorder. There are opportunities to work on research protocols as well as other academic endeavors. May include group nutrition classes. Boston location.
This Clinical Nutrition Specialist II will be responsible for:

Providing basic nutritional care to patients on assigned patient units and/or in outpatient clinics.
Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assesses patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.
Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.

To qualify, you must have:

Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a closely related field plus three (3) plus years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least two (2) years in pediatric nutrition.
Analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in‑depth, experienced‑based knowledge.
Good communication skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, and well‑developed writing skills.
